About Us

Aplaya National High School (ANHS) was founded in 1969 with ninety (90) students. Classes were manned by four (4) teachers; three (3) were on full-time basis.

As of School Year 2016-2017 the students’ population has grown to 2,098 with ninety-seven (97) teachers. In 2016, a Senior High School was integrated as part of ANHS.

Senior High School started with one hundred fifty-nine (159) students for SY 2016-2017 and geometrically rose to two hundred sixty-nine (269) for SY 2017-2018 and 272 for SY 2018-2019 and 279 for SY 2019-2020.

Senior High School is currently manned by competent teachers whose academic and industry background are beyond reproach. The wide are in terms of schools’ course offerings consisting of tw0 (2) tracks and eight (strands) yields an upper hand in terms of enrollees which is comparatively higher from among the public senior high schools in the City of Santa Rosa.
